P.S. Alumni

For Students Past, Present, & Future

P.S. alumni is NYC's official public school alumni network. Comprised of mentors, ambassadors, and champions, p.s. alumni uses their experiences as former New York City public school students to help prepare the next generation of New Yorkers for life after public school.

Founded by the New York City Department of Education in 2017, p.s. alumni was created to provide opportunities for former students to directly serve students, schools, and each other.

Alumni who are active with p.s. alumni are able to help the younger them through through various one-on-one mentoring programs, days of service, and speaking opportunities, all of which are opportunities exclusive for NYC public school alumni.

In order to support the growth of p.s. alumni, and ultimately to reach more former & current students, we have set up two distinct funds:

The P.S. Alumni Program Fund supports programmatic expenses such as mentoring events, and days of service.

The Alumni Leadership Fund supports special initiatives, including the development of professional & academic guides, as well as celebrating our many alumni leaders.
