Portfolio Manager

Cimary joined the Fund for Public Schools in August 2022. As a Portfolio Manager, her portfolio of work focuses on the Arts, Food and Nutrition, Students in Temporary Housing, Community Schools, Health, and Enrollment. Cimary brought seven years of experience at NYC Public Schools to her role, previously serving as the Community School District 6 Family Support Coordinator in Upper Manhattan, where she addressed parent and special education escalations by working with 49 schools spanning the Hamilton Heights, Washington Heights, and Inwood neighborhoods. In addition, she coordinated and executed district-wide events such as the annual culminating arts event, United at the Palace, and the health-focused interactive school kickoff event, Wellness Initiative Now (WIN). 

Before her career in the public sector, Cimary worked as a Marketing Associate with several private accounting firms handling their RFPs, events, market research, and database management. Cimary earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Fordham University Gabelli School of Business with a concentration in Marketing and Communications and her Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Public Policy from CUNY-Baruch College, Marxe School of Public and International Affairs.
